Dalinar is haunted by visions and struggles to understand their meaning. But what sets him apart is his unwavering dedication to the ideals of honor and unity. His growth throughout the story is captivating, and you’ll find yourself rooting for him as he tries to shape a better world.
Szeth-son-son-Vallano
Truthless of Shinovar: Szeth is a character who’ll leave you in awe. Known as the “Assassin in White,” he possesses incredible skills with a deadly Shardblade. His presence on the page is both terrifying and intriguing. Szeth is a complex character, torn between duty and a desire for freedom. As the truth behind his actions begins to unfold, you’ll be captivated by the depth of his character and the moral dilemmas he faces.
Each of these characters brings something unique and compelling to the story. They’re flawed, relatable, and undergo tremendous growth as they face challenges, make difficult choices, and discover their true strengths. Sanderson has done an incredible job crafting these multifaceted personalities that will stick with you long after you’ve finished the book.
